Slingerland Vintage SALE
Vintage 5 ½ X 14’ 6 lug Slingerland student snare. This drum was severely water damaged when it arrived at Doc’s. The mahogany shell with sound rings had mildew stains & some bubbling in the interior, but was sanded and painted the traditional chocolate brown. (Some bubbles remain). The wrap was removed and the outside of the drum sanded and Re-wrapped with red sparkle. Damaged lugs were replaced with vintage Slingerland lugs, muffler repaired and Original Chrome over Brass counterhoops were cleaned and polished. This drum and counterhoops are remarkably in round. A new Remo Ambassador Batter head with an Evans Snare Side head were added. A collector’s restored instrument with a warm tone.
